Del Rayo Downs is an area in the unincorporated area of Rancho Santa Fe that was one of the first areas to be developed in now, Fairbanks Ranch. It was developed in 1987 by Gen Klein and range from 2,500 to 4,300 square feet. The beauty of this area is that it is right next to a quaint shopping center, Del Rayo Plaza. Some of these homes look over the newly acquired expansive horse facility Bill Gates purchased that is extremely scenic. There are 65 homesites in this gated community and most have valley views with sweeping vistas of horse pastures and Morgan Run Country Club as well as Fairbanks Ranch Country Club.
