Rancho Santa Fe Farms

The Farms was conceived as an exclusive “golf club” in 1988. It was originally designed as a links course with views that reflected golf in Ireland or Scotland. Originally designed by Pete, Perry and Alice Dye with assistance from golfing great, Tommy Jacobs, the course overall was considered “a bit too unfriendly” for all golfers to enjoy and so it underwent an extensive remodel. They had modifications made to improve the playability and maintainability of the course. Changes included newly reconstructed and recountoured bent grass, more undulated greens and the Farms is still “exclusively golf” thus there are no pools or tennis courts. The club attracts members with a love of the commitment of the game.
