Located south of Rancho Del Lago on the northeast boundary of the Covenant, RANCHO LA CIMA’s lots average two acres with mostly Mediterranean-style homes, most of which were built in the mid-1980’s or early 1990’s.  Rancho La Cima is a gated community with a guard at the gate and is within the Rancho Santa Fe School District.  Recent home prices range from $2 million to $6 million. There are 26 homesites in Rancho La Cima so they do not come on the market very often.

The architecture is primarily a Spanish or Mediterranean style, with tile roofs, stately columns, tall ceilings, arched doorways, and extensive use of crown moldings. Most of these luxury estates have pools and spas, and many have tennis courts, detached guest cottages, and other out buildings.

While this area is gated, there is no golf course associated with Rancho La Cima.

Residents of this community enjoy some of the most beautiful surroundings that Rancho Santa Fe has to offer.  The lots are spacious and private, with views of the surrounding mountains and hills, and the San Dieguito River Valley.  Many of the properties have their own gate entries that lead up long winding driveways to the residences.

Children in the neighborhood attend Rancho Santa Fe Elementary School.  The public middle school and high schools are Earl Warren Middle and Torrey Pines High School in Carmel Valley.
