The fairways are broad and flanked by thick forests, and the course’s greens are undulating. Even though the course is mainly flat, there are a few small, rolling hills that could lead to uneven lies. Sand bunkers and water hazards are present on four of the 18 holes. Golfers have access to the chipping area and putting green, and the course also features a fully stocked pro shop.

A delightful round of golf can be had at Trail Ridge Golf Course in a genuinely arid setting. Although the course is mainly level and may be walked, some of the holes are extremely mountainous. Water hazards are created by ponds that are scattered over the golf course and are present on six of the holes.
