All Rancho Santa Fe home owners and condo owners alike will be able to own their own membership at the prestigious Rancho Santa Fe Country Club. Presently, one must own a detached home or stay at the famed Rancho Santa Fe Inn.

The Rancho Santa Fe Association voted 7-0 on April 17th in favor of granting condomininum owners RSF Golf Club  membership rights.

“We have a limited footprint of which to draw from and anything to increase that footprint will help with the membership.” Said Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club Board President, Mike Philips. “It’s a matter of equity. This is a common sense solution  to something that been kind of a thorn in the side for folks for a long time.”

In other Golf Club news, the Association board approved changes to the club’s bylaws to increase the total number of junior executive memberships from 20 to 30. The membership category allows members under the age of 48 to spread out their enrollment fees in installments.

Castro said that in the two years since approving the membership category, they have recruited 18 junior executive members. After the members hit the age of 48, they become regular members of the club and a spot in the junior executive membership category opens up.

15960 Via Broma’s Interior Has An Impressive Spanish Revival Architecture Feel

Via Broma is one of the nicest single story homes I have seen in Whispering Palms for all the years I have owned and lived here. Spanish influences abound here with a revival aspect reflected in the beautiful arches throughout the home. 3 bedrooms and an office on one side offers privacy while the other side of the home is dedicated to entertaining with a casual family room, formal dining room, kitchen, Patio Room and a Garden that rivals all Gardens I have ever seen in Whispering Palms. This elegant home sits on 1/4 acre of flat property.

Rancho Santa Fe Driving Tour and A Bit of History.

Enjoy the history of Rancho Santa Fe and a drive through some of the best known streets of The Ranch.

Rancho Santa Fe is a census-designated place (CDP) in San Diego County , California , United States and a bedroom community of San Diego . The population was 3,252 at the 2000 census . At $245,631, it is one of the highest income communities in the United States with at least 1,000 households. The CDP is primarily all residential with one shopping avenue as well as several private schools, condominiums, and single family residential areas situated on uncommonly large lots.

Rancho Santa Fe has strict design restrictions. Many streets outside of the downtown area are lined with landscaping; on side streets the landscaping of individual properties provides ambient decor. Very few homes are visible from the road. Forbes reported Rancho Santa Fe as having the third most expensive ZIP code in the United States, and most expensive in California, with a median home sale price of $2,585,000 [1] [2] . Some homes in ZIP code 92067 but not within the CDP are valued at more than the median home-value within the Master Planned Community that makes up the official CDP , and many people who live within the 92067 ZIP code cite their community as Rancho Santa Fe even though they do not live within the strict boundaries of the Master Planned Community. The United States Postal Service also calls the entire 92067 and entire 92091 ZIP codes “Rancho Santa Fe”.

The downtown is centered around the intersection of Linea del Cielo/Paseo Delicias and La Granada/Via de Santa Fe. It is the site of offices of financial firms, restaurants, and small stores. A library and a school are also located here.

And Now….

And here is a driving tour of some of Historic Rancho Santa Fe
